Single crystal is regularly arranged material which minute particles have regular stucture. It’s different from that of ceramics which is combined by the irregular particles. There are some examples of single crystal, such as silicone crystal used as a semiconductor substrate material, gallium- arsenic crystal used as a LED substrate material, and quartz crystal, etc...
PZT (lead zirconate titanate) ceramic have been used variously in piezoelectric material field. PZT has been used untill for over than 80 years, since its development without father development. However piezoelectric application field still demands improved property of material.
